Monday Morning

There were 13 members and one guest at Monday’s meeting. Katie Karls was our guest. Marlin and Glen were our greeters. Dan did the grace. Steve had any humor. Bonnie had a happy buck for those who helped at coat distribution. Steve was happy for snow in Madison and a Purdue win. Gary had a happy buck for a great Brewers season. Pork Fest wrap up meeting is Oct. 25th 7:30 Pancake Day. Start your Christmas List, Harry has the popcorn sheets out. Rewards winners, get your CHARITY to Harry.  Harry was winner and winner. Habitat for Humanity, Katie Karls

Katie Karls is the new executive director of Habitat for Humanity Fond du Lac County. Katie’s background was meant for Habitat. She lost her house and mother to a tornado as a child in Shiocton. Her neighbors helped rebuild their house and she still remembers the great feeling. She, her husband and three kids live in Marytown. They are almost done with the 2018 house. It is at 471 E 2nd St. Drive by to take a look. The 2019 house is a project to rebuild a house out on HH. In 2020, they will build a house in Oakfield. In addition to home building, they have the Habitat Store. If you have items, they will pick up for you. Or if you need items to build, stop in.
