Kiwanis Club of Fabulous Fond du Lac – sometimes called the morning club- is a local branch of Kiwanis International.  We chartered on April 9, 1973.  Our first Club President was Ott Henkel.

During the first year of our history, we won an award for raising money for the Humane Society.

When started as Supreme Lodge Benevolent Order of Brothers in 1915, Kiwanis was a male only organization.  That changed in July of 1987 when we had the first female join our club.

Early cheese curd making consisted of a stove and cast iron frying pans.  We bought 50 lbs of cheese the first year.  Compare to 2,360 lbs of cheese we fried in 2023.  Our secret recipe is known by few.

Kiwanis of Fabulous Fond du Lac has granted more than $1 million in the life of the club.  Since 2018 we have granted over $140,000 primarily to organizations who serve children in the Fond du Lac Area.
