Monday Morning

We had 15 members at Monday’s Appreciation Breakfast hosted by the North Fond du Lac Horace Mann Key Club. In addition to our members there were 12 Key Clubbers, Jean Hintze, their awesome advisor, and Ken Stephani and a couple of his VEX Robotics Team members. John Cooper, Vickie Goldapske and Del Waldschmidt presented a check to Ken Stephani to complete our donation to the North Fond du Lac High School VEX Robotics Team. The total donation was $1,000 with the majority of the funds coming from the NFDL PDQ Brat Fry. The 50/50 Raffle drawing on June 2nd will have 21 cards with five pay cards and a pot of at least $425.

The NFDL Key Club hosted a wonderful Appreciation Breakfast on Monday morning with an abundant offering of fruit, bagels, muffins and assorted beverages. No one should have gone away hungry. The President will be Holly Palmer, Vice President – Dylan Palmer, Secretary – Stephanie Mallinger and Treasurer – Marisa Strobel. The current Key Club has 82 members of which 68 are very active. The Key Club is the single largest Club at the High School. They raised over $518 in their various fundraisers and made donations of $3,524 to a number of community groups. From April 2013 through April 2014 the Key Clubbers performed 2,563 volunteer hours in countless projects.
