The Kiwanis Club of Fabulous Fond du Lac service organization has started a new Satellite group at Moraine Park Technical College, (MPTC). The group first met on Thursday, November 3, 2011 with the induction of eight new members and a visit from Kiwanis District Governor Fred Dietze and Division Lt. Governor Tonya Alling. The MPTC Satellite group meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at MPTC at 12:00 P.M.
The Kiwanis Club of Fabulous Fond du Lac started the Satellite group at MPTC to offer an alternative meeting time and location for people interested in joining a service organization who could not otherwise attend the regular Monday morning Kiwanis breakfast meetings that the club currently holds each week. The Kiwanis of Fabulous Fond du Lac is happy that these new members joining the club through the MPTC Satellite group are interested in helping to impact the Fond du Lac area in a very positive way, serving children and helping to meet the community needs.
If you would like more information on how you could be a part of either the Monday morning meeting or the MPTC satellite club, please contact us today. We would love to have you join us in our efforts to serve the children of the world as we meet the community needs of the greater Fond du Lac area.
