About Kiwanis

Kiwanis International

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis International was founded in 1915 by a group of volunteers joining together to form a fellowship. A higher purpose soon emerged as the group evolved into a passionate service club helping children and young adults.
Today, with its world headquarters in Indianapolis, IN; the organization is a thriving body of service-minded individuals of all ages.

Kiwanis Name

The name Kiwanis means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” It was coined from an American Indian expression Nunc-Kee-Wanis.

Kiwanis Club of Fabulous Fond du Lac

The Kiwanis of Fabulous Fond du Lac has been serving the Fond du Lac area with community service and donations since 1973; we are thankful to our Past-Presidents and our Kiwanians of the Year for their leadership in prioritizing the children of Fond du Lac and the world.
